SQE demanded Armstrong speak out publicly against the Sustainable Financial Model, invest in minority education fields and change Cal Poly’s Student Success Fee structure.
“This arrest further reiterates that there is no place for hate at Cal Poly,” President Armstrong said.
Nearly 130 Cal Poly community members were in attendance at the 9 p.m. protest on Veterans’ Day.
“I expect people to voice concerns and ask questions — tough questions. I’m actually on everybody’s side here.”
