ASI vote breakdown announced
After nearly a week of delays, the ASI election results were announced: Art and design senior Kelly Griggs won the election with 1,807 votes, followed by computer science graduate student Jon McElroy’s 979 and psychology senior Jacob Alvarez’s 907.

Poly class changes house, changes lives
Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering 556 is currently renovating the home of Samantha Reuck, a 16-year-old girl who has been suffering from seizures all her life. Poly House has extended the entire house two feet, despite early reports that it couldn’t be done. The expansion makes it possible to add another bedroom and create her roll-in shower.

Mustangs win Big West, ready for Stanford regional
Needing a win to clinch the Big West title, the Cal Poly softball team (39-10, 18-3 Big West Conference) wasted little time grasping the championship with a decisive victory over UC Riverside on Saturday afternoon at Amy Harrison Field. Sophomore Anna Cahn picked up her Cal Poly-record 27th win.

Nunno comes from behind to win decathlon
Cal Poly senior James Nunno rallied from fourth place at the end of Friday’s session to win the decathlon at the Big West Conference Multi-Event Championships hosted by UC Irvine on Saturday. Nunno capitalized with a 16-foot, 4 3/4-inch clearance in the pole vault to get within striking distance.
