Warren Chang, biomedical engineering senior

Listening to: “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore (Tony Ferrari Cover)

“I like the song. Tony Ferrari’s cover is pretty good; it’s a little jazzy, a little (more) pop-y than the original. And his concert is coming up Oct. 23 as well so I’m excited to go to that.”

Lauren Davenport, recreation, parks and tourism administration sophomore

Listening to: “Believe” by Mumford & Sons

“It’s just on one of the playlists that I’m listening to. It’s (the playlist) just one of those Spotify ones, called hanging out and relaxing.”

Blaine Quackenbush, mathematics senior

Listening to: “Pretty Pimpin” by Kurt Vile

“It’s like relaxing rock. It gets me in the zone to study and stuff. I can read even when he’s singing lyrics. Mostly the guitar is just really calming.”

Gino Flores, computer engineer sophomore

Listening to: “Years of War” by Porter Robinson

“As of right now, it’s a lot of electronic stuff — you know, like rave festival mood. I went to Avila Beach Party and HARD Fest Summer this past year, so right now it’s tunes like RL Grime, Porter Robinson and Jack Ü that I’m listening to.”
