Several high school seniors across the West solidified their future in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday during National Signing Day, the official start of the early signing window for college athletics.

Here’s an early look at the players who committed to Cal Poly for the 2026-27 season.

Women’s Golf

Two California native recruits will add depth to the Cal Poly Women’s Golf squad under head coach Courtney Roberts.

Standout Ashley Gettleman from Scotts Valley brings junior golf experience to the program as she holds a 395 ranking with the AJGA

“Ashley is such a dynamic player,” Roberts told Cal Poly Athletics.  “She’s athletic, powerful, and has an incredible passion for the game.”

Gettleman led The Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, Calif., to their first CIF Norcal Regional Championship title on Monday and will golf in the CIF State championship next week.

“Her experiences academically and athletically have prepared her well for this next step,” Roberts said in the release.

Lexi Lowe will also join the Mustangs from Leland High School in San Jose, Calif. She arrives with an impressive list of victories from statewide competitions.

“She’s a long hitter with great athleticism and an outstanding ability to be gritty and get the ball in the hole,” Roberts said in the release.

Her distinct personality compliments her accolades on the course and makes her the ideal kind of teammate the coaches look for.

“She brings a vibrant presence to every environment she’s in, and we know her enthusiasm and work ethic will make an immediate impact on our program,” Roberts said in the release.

Women’s Volleyball

The lone early signee for Cal Poly Women’s Volleyball is Kamille Scott from Chandler, Ariz.

The 5-foot-11 outside hitter was a four-year varsity starter at Camille Casteel High School, collecting the All-Region First Team honor in 2024. On her club team, she led the Arizona Storm to second place in the 2024 National Championships.

“Kamille brings explosive energy to the court as a dynamic attacker with a fast arm. Her relentless work ethic and strong character make her a perfect fit for Cal Poly,” assistant coach Jason Borchin said to Cal Poly Athletics in a press release.

Vballrecruiter.com ranked her as a three-star recruit and one of the top 500 high school prospects in the 2026 class. Scott chose Cal Poly for its uplifting environment under head coach Caroline Walters.

“The location is unreal, the people are so kind and welcoming, and the volleyball program as a whole has such a positive atmosphere,” Scott said, according to the Cal Poly press release.

Men’s Golf

Eidan Jamzidi will travel overseas from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to golf for head coach Phil Rowe’s team.

A member of the Malaysia National Team, Jamzidi also holds top-50 finishes in the 2025 Uswing Junior World Championship and the 2024 IMG Junior World Championship.

“Eidan has made great strides with his scoring in the past year and is investing in his winter training to tee up for a breakout summer in 2026,” Rowe said in a Cal Poly Athletics news release.

Jamzidi had a successful youth career at Wellington College in England while competing in several events across the United States with notable finishes. Though he initially looked at Ivy League schools, he was drawn to the West Coast atmosphere.

“He set his heart on Cal Poly as his top school and dedicated himself to making this special signing day possible,” Rowe said in the press release.

Leo McDonough, a multi-sport athlete from Campolindo High School in Lafayette, Calif., will add depth to the Cal Poly men’s golf program. At Campolindo, he led the golf team to three consecutive league championships and earned league MVP.

“Leo has the rare combination of strength in speed and stability,” said Rowe in the release.

The son of a former Cal Poly men’s tennis player, McDonough previously played baseball and football before focusing on golf.

“It was clear he had the passion and ability to take his game to the top,” Rowe told Cal Poly Athletics.

Women’s Soccer

Head coach Bernardo Silva and the 2025 Big West Championship-winning program will welcome six top recruits across California.

Delaney Franklin will join her sister, freshman Farra Franklin, as a midfielder for Cal Poly. The North Fork native played for Clovis Crossfire Girls Academy and will continue a family legacy of college soccer, with both parents having played at Cal and her brother at UC Davis.

The Mustangs will add another talented goalkeeper to the lineup with Alyssa Lopez from Windsor, Calif. She comes from Santa Rosa United ENCL where she earned all-conference honors in 2023.

Cal Poly’s first dual-sport athlete signing of the season is Nina Souto from Rocklin. Souto will contribute as a defender to the soccer program while competing as a hurdler for Director Ryan Vanhoy’s track and field program.

Suna Roberts of Torrance, Calif., will also join the recognized backline of Cal Poly Women’s Soccer. Roberts brings experience from the Beach FC ECNL team.

Another talented defender, Kate Nunes, will arrive from Salinas, Calif. She plays in the back for Bay Area Surf ECNL but brings versatility to Cal Poly’s roster, also serving as a varsity top goal scorer at Salinas High School, where she scored 38 goals between the 2022-24 seasons.

The top forward slot in Silva’s recruiting class is reserved for Madison Lulja, who will join the Mustangs from Davis, Calif. She played for Davis Legacy ECNL and earned all-conference honors this year. In 2024, she was also invited to the United States Youth National Team ID Camp.

Women’s Beach Volleyball

Two out-of-state signees will officially join the current third ranked beach volleyball team in the nation under head coach Todd Rogers.

Addison Conner from Lacey, Wash., will represent Cal Poly next season. Connor brings extensive experience in both beach and indoor volleyball. Her high level club indoor play and recognition adds depth to her skill set in the sand.

Joining her is a 5-foot-9 Arizona native Addison Duell from Scottsdale. Duell was MVP of her high school beach volleyball team and brings a strong tournament resume, including multiple top finishes in regional pairs events.

Cross Country

The programs that just swept the Big West Championships for the fourth straight year will add seven in-state distance runners to their rosters.

Alden Morales, Kyle Jakary and Andres Lomeli signed for the men’s team on Wednesday.

For the women’s side, Amber Dazey, Brenna Mannion, Sydney Middleton and Isabella Ramirez will continue Vanhoy’s tradition of developing strong California talent for the cross country program.
