Men’s basketball drops fourth straight game

The Cal Poly men’s basketball team suffered its worst conference loss since 2014 on Saturday night.

The Mustangs’ two turnovers were the least given up by a team in coach Joe Callero’s seven-year Cal Poly career.

Playing in their first home double overtime game since 1972, the Mustangs defeated LBSU 96-92.

Cal Poly handed Fresno State its second loss of the season on Saturday night.

IPFW hit a game winning bucket with three seconds remaining to secure the 75-73 victory.
