Vandals defaced two Cal Poly campus signs overnight, University Spokesperson Matt Lazier said in an email to Mustang News.

The university became aware of the vandalism at the Santa Rosa and Highland entrance sign and at the College of Engineering sign off Highland and California at 5 a.m. this morning, according to Lazier.

The Cal Poly Police Department is currently investigating the vandalism, and no additional details about said investigation can be provided at this time, Lazier said.

This morning, crews are taking away the paint, according to Lazier.
