For years, Saint Fratty’s Day has been an unofficial tradition at Cal Poly, drawing thousands of students out to party on the streets. Specifically in the Hathway Alley community near campus. But with growing concerns over safety and rowdy crowds, the university introduced a new event this year—Morning on the Green—aiming to provide a controlled alternative.
