The new John Madden Football Center will be showcased on the NFL on FOX pregame show ahead of the NFC Championship through behind-the-scenes footage on Sunday, Jan. 25 according to an Instagram post by Cal Poly Football.
FOX’s pregame show is set to start at 3 p.m., which is hosted by veteran broadcaster Curt Menefee and Super Bowl Champion Terry Bradshaw alongside analysts Howie Long, Michael Strahan and Rob Gronkowski.
According to the Instagram caption, the show will highlight John Madden along with footage from Cal Poly Athletics of the $45 million Madden Center.
The NFC Championship between the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams will kick off shortly after the show at 3:30 p.m.

The Madden Center, which will include a new locker room, training facilities, meeting rooms and a statue of John Madden, is set to be complete in early 2026. Construction began in 2023, and was initially projected to be completed by the end of 2025, according to the university’s informational website.
Before becoming a Pro Football Hall of Famer, Madden played football and baseball at Cal Poly in the late 1950’s. Following a very successful coaching career, Madden won 16 Emmy Awards as a football commentator from 1979 to 2009.
The Madden Center is part of a new era of Cal Poly Football under newly hired head coach Tim Skipper, who has overhauled their coaching staff ahead of spring ball starting in the next few months.
