Cal Poly hangs on for 63-54 win over CSU Bakersfield
The Mustangs, 4-4 heading into Saturday’s contest, picked up a pair of wins at the Cal Poly Holiday Beach Classic last weekend and tipped its record to 5-4 with the triumph over the Roadrunners, giving the Mustangs their first three-game win streak of the season.

Women’s basketball improves to 4-4
The Cal Poly women’s basketball team won both games in the Holiday Beach Classic tournament held this past weekend. Cal Poly beat Akron 84-74 on Friday and then defeated San Francisco 76-65 on Saturday to improve to 4-4 on the season.
