Elections aftermath: turning pain into purpose
Then I remembered the words of Colorado State Senator Tom Sullivan. I met Senator Sullivan last October in his home state. His son, Alex, was murdered in the Aurora Theater Massacre in 2012. Since then, he told me, he’s turned into “a ball of anger and frustration and lack of patience.” Oh, and he ran for office, won, and actually made change.
Cal Poly’s Moot Court invites students to compete on their team
Cal Poly Moot Court welcomes students interested in pre-law and oral advocacy to join them for the 2024-2025 academic year. Combining constitutional law with Supreme Court cases, Moot Court offers students interested in law school or learning more about real-world issues an ideal platform.
The club, currently in its second year, argues cases ranging from privacy law to contraceptives based on Supreme Court precedent.
