For the second straight year, the Big West baseball champions reside in San Luis Obispo. The Mustangs defeated the No. 3-seeded UC San Diego Tritons 4-2 on Sunday to claim the title and punch their ticket to an NCAA regional.

Cal Poly Baseball takes hold of first place in the Big West with sweep over CSUN
Good pitching and timely hitting led the Mustangs (24-18, 15-6 Big West) to a 5-3 win over the Matadors (22-20, 11-13) to complete a three-game sweep and put them in sole possession of first place in the conference.
