The Cal Poly softball team kicked off its 2017 season with a 4-1 record in the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Arizona.

Softball suspension lifted on remaning four players
First year students Taylor Yzaguirre, Sierra Hyland, Ashley Tornio, Shawna McDonough, Kiersten Nordin and Courtney Tyler- were originally put on athletic suspension in the beginning of February.
