Shannon Porubski, a redshirt freshman goalkeeper, earned her chance to prove herself on the field and has since become a staple of the Cal Poly Women’s Soccer defense, leading the team to seven shutouts and eight wins after earning the role of the starting goalkeeper midway through the season.
