The filing period for 2026-2027 Cal Poly ASI President and ASI Board of Directors positions opened on Monday. 

The period for filing is open until Feb. 28 at 5 p.m according to ASI. Applications are open to all matriculating students who meet the Cal State qualifications for office, which includes a minimum grade point average of 2.0, are on “good standings,” as the qualifications lists it and are not on any academic or disciplinary probation.

For both the president and board of directors applications, applicants are asked to confirm their review of ASI policies, a candidate statement and members of their campaign.

“ASI Student Government is a place where you can actually make a difference. You’ll meet new people, build real world skills and help create change on campus that you can be proud of long after you graduate. If you’re even thinking of applying, just do it, because you never know what might happen,” Marc said.

In their announcement, ASI wrote “ASI encourages students to take an active role in creating the campus experience they want to see today, and in the years ahead.”
