Trigger Warning: This story mentions antisemitic, ableist, homophobic and Islamophobic speech and gestures.

Turning Point USA’s “America: Love It or Leave It” tour brought hundreds of attendees and over 70 protesters gathered outside the Performing Arts Center last night. At least three attendees responded to protesters with Nazi salutes.

Mustang News documented two men making Nazi salutes in the direction of protesters outside the PAC.

One man, Nima Poursohi, wore a “Persians for Trump” shirt while the other man wore a “Make California Golden Again” hat and a floor-length fur jacket.

Before making the gestures, the two men heckled protesters and posed for several photographs in front of the demonstration.

Poursohi spoke with Mustang News and said he attended the event to “show our support for the conservative movement” and predicted a “red wave revolution” in the November midterm elections.

Poursohi interacted with the protesters and acknowledged their right to demonstrate but ultimately questioned the effectiveness of their protest.

“They have the freedom of speech just like anybody else, but honestly there’s no point because they know they’re not going to stop us,” Poursohi said.

Poursohi also said he wanted “to fight the liberal establishment” and voiced support for mass deportations. He expressed opposition to LGBTQ+ people and Islam, describing them as “the biggest forms of cancer on planet Earth.”

Security personnel were also visible atop the Vista Grande Dining Complex during Wednesday’s event, similar to the security presence observed during the Charlie Kirk vigil.

However, unlike last night’s event, the vigil did not draw a major counterprotest.
