The men’s basketball team will host UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton for their last home games of the 2005-06 season this weekend. The back-to-back games begin with the Mustangs facing the Highlanders on Thursday, Feb. 23, and then the Titans on Saturday, Feb. 25.

Coming off the devastating school-low 64-37 loss against UCSB on Feb. 15 followed by the narrow 89-85 loss to Saint Mary’s just three days later, the Mustangs are looking to finish their season strong.

Led by Titan senior forward David Misko, who recently scored a career-high 22 points in the Highlanders’ recent non-conference win against Southern Missouri, UC Riverside promises to be a worthy opponent against the Mustangs.

On Saturday, Cal State Fullerton will wrap up its northerly vacation up U.S Highway 101 in Mott Gym against the Mustangs. The Titans are coming off an easy victory as they cruised to a 89-63 non-conference victory over Eastern Washington University on Feb. 18. The Mustangs will have to keep a close eye on Titan junior Bobby Brown as he posted a strong 25 points last game.

Going out with a bang, the men’s basketball games will be broadcast live on the Internet through a CSTV partnership. The games can be viewed at http://www.cstv.com/ot/bigwest-aa.html.

Continuing with the Grand finale festivities, the game will also be broadcast on the radio. The live play-by-play action will be hosted by Randy Scovll on KXTY-99.7 FM.
