The Cali-centric Cosentino made a name for herself by combining the sun of So-Cal beach rock with the brashness of L.A. girl groups to create chunks of fuzzy surf pop infused with the longing of a homesick 20-something girl from the City of Angels.

Women’s soccer leads Big West after weekend wins
The Cal Poly women’s soccer team celebrated its Senior Day with a 3-1 victory over UC Riverside. The event was kicked off by presenting the class of eight seniors — Cristina Farrington, Braelyn Fetsch, Brittainy Gebo, Kacey Held, Amanda Turini, Haley Walker, Jordyn Zander and Andrea Zimkowski — who were welcomed by their family and friends.
