The plan for the new facility is still being talked out within Cal Poly Corporation and among university administrators, Cal Poly Corporation spokesperson Yukie Murphy said.

Cal Poly to host forum on new residence project
In May of this year, Cal Poly announced plans to build an additional 1,400 units of on-campus housing, and on Wednesday Nov. 6 will host a public forum in Room 220 of the University Union 6 to 7:30 p.m. to update the community on its plan, and, furthermore, to address any concerns regarding the project.
