Healthy eating at Cal Poly? Good luck avoiding on-campus fast food
This is going to be controversial, and I know that. But come on, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Taco Bell, Starbucks…these are considered some of the unhealthiest dining options across the US, and Cal Poly decided to put all four of them on campus. We deserve better, healthier, more diverse dining options.

Dining Dollars may feel fake, but the consequences are real
Besides, dining dollars are fake money! Students are reminded about this daily living in the dorms–it’s a big inside joke that dining dollars don’t feel real since they’ve already been paid for at the beginning of the school year. They’re a deep endless well in the form of a digital Grubhub account, from which you can buy unlimited Scout Coffee lattes and Campus Market breakfast burritos.

1901 Marketplace becomes a popular study space and dining complex; adjusts to new restaurant additions
After its initial opening in Winter quarter, Cal Poly’s new dining complex, 1901 Marketplace, has provided students with additional areas to eat and study. According to Director of Campus Dining Jess Dozier, 1901 Marketplace instantly became the third preferred space for the campus community.
