‘We lack a lot of Hispanic students’: environmental science department recruits Latino students with videos

Two Cal Poly students, Diego Ortega and Luis Cruzgarcia, created three videos showcasing the school’s Natural Resources Management and Environmental Sciences (NRES) department, funded by an HSI Mini-Grant, to attract more Hispanic students to the department and bridge the gap between the predominantly Hispanic community colleges in the Central Valley and Cal Poly’s programs.
