Cal Poly’s defense gets the win in the final play of football’s Spring Game Saturday afternoon at Alex G. Spanos Stadium. The defense out-dueled the offense and won 29-28.

Cal Poly sweeps UC Davis to earn sole rights to second place in Big West Conference as Ryan Lee hits for the 26th consecutive game, breaking record previously held by Brandon Roberts. The game’s first pitch was thrown in front of fans holding umbrellas high, trying to protect themselves from the 93 degree heat.
