Cal Poly’s Student Ombuds Services will be discontinued as of October 6, 2025, announced this morning in an email by the Office of the President. The service is a safe and confidential space for students to discuss conflict over the last 15 years.

Cal Poly is adding an A+ to the grading scale, to be given at any professor’s discretion. The hope is that students applying to grad school will benefit from a potential GPA boost. Cal Poly adds new Mustang Shuttle route running in the opposite direction
The added Mustang Shuttle service route will run in the opposite direction of the other route, providing shorter ride times for students. This new route will also add a daytime stop at Cerro Vista, a stop that was previously not served during the day.
