The University Union on Cal Poly’s campus witnessed a consistent voter turnout this afternoon. Cal Poly students began dropping off their ballots as early as 7 a.m.

Cal Poly Hispanic/Latino enrollment reached 25% for the first time.
The university has to maintain 25% Hispanic/Latino enrollment for two years to be a Hispanic Serving Institution. which eligible to receive specific grants from the federal government.
