This is going to be controversial, and I know that. But come on, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Taco Bell, Starbucks…these are considered some of the unhealthiest dining options across the US, and Cal Poly decided to put all four of them on campus. We deserve better, healthier, more diverse dining options.

The resolution to kick Chick-fil-A off campus passed — but that doesn’t mean it’s leaving yet
After the resolution’s second hearing, a majority vote passed it at the Academic Senate meeting. However, because the franchise is out of the Academic Senate’s jurisdiction, the resolution cannot terminate the contract itself but can only suggest Cal Poly Corporation to do so.
