The ordinance that banned these products was passed Feb. 4, 2020 and was was set to take effect on May 4, but the city postponed enforcement so stores that sold e-cigarette and flavored tobacco products had time to sell the rest of their inventory during the pandemic.

Curfew to curb after-dark activities for minors
The San Luis Obispo will review the possibility of a new ordinance that would establish a 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. cerfew for minors.
