Glover, who earned his engineering degree in 1999, was pilot of the Artemis II crew, which traveled more than 250,000 miles from Earth – the farthest any humans have traveled in history. During the evening, he will discuss the mission, his path from Cal Poly to NASA and the role his education played in preparing him for a career in space exploration.

The event is presented by the Baker Forum, which was established to honor Former President Warren J. Baker’s three decades of service to Cal Poly and to promote dialogue on public policy and higher education.
