Landscape architecture junior Charles Tamae was last seen by friends on Mon., Nov. 30. at Cal Poly. He has not been heard from by family, friends or classmates since.
The case has been turned over to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, who was notified Thursday morning. The University Police Department was alerted about Tamae’s disappearance late Wednesday night and has exhausted all leads on campus said UPD commander Lori Hashim. She added that the UPD officers are still actively looking for Tamae.
His friends started a Facebook for people to comment about Tamae’s whereabouts.
Students have organized a meeting, which will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. on Dexter Lawn.

Hopefully they get his cell phone records, since it can at least act like a GPS and maybe they can have a better idea where he has been. I hope they find him alive and well though. How awful for his family and friends. =(

No, the escaped inmate was apprehended in Fresno earlier this week.

As a CP alumnus, I am so sad to hear one of our fellow student ended his life. My heart felt sympathy and condolences to his friends and family.
I especially know how you all feel, because I’ve been down that path while I was attending CP in my senior year. The empty feeling in your chest will never go away. Take life and death as it comes. It is all part of life and accepting it.
To honor Charles,think of pleasant things about Charles and how he made everyone around him laugh and to be part of his life.
