Dome anticipates joining Mustangs

Of USC and Cal Poly, which would you choose to attend? For tennis star Andre Dome, the decision was simple.

The Arroyo Grande High senior signed his letter of intent to play at Cal Poly in the fall on a full-ride scholarship – despite offers from USC, a program which has one 15 NCAA Division I men’s singles titles, in addition to Washington State and every Big West Conference school.

Cal Poly bowling team looking to grow

What sport requires balance, precision, consistency and a trusty ball with pins? It’s bowling, and the Cal Poly bowling club team is seeking to expand.

The team has been in existence for about five years, with two past captains before its current leader, mechanical engineering junior Kyle Vanden Berg, who’s been bowling for close to 15 years.
