Capt. Vaughn of the San Luis Obispo Fire Department makes sure the Bishop Peak fire is completely out by spraying a smoldering log. The seven-acre grass fire began at approximately 1:15 p.m. and was considered a second alarm, meaning more fire engines were called to the scene to put out the fire, Capt. Danny O’Neil of the SLO Fire Department said. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
