Dear readers,
The moment has finally come: we’re graduating. We know, we know. You’re going to miss yapping in our Instagram comments. You’re going to miss our monthly Tuesday print drops. Dare we say…you’re even going to miss us? We’re going to miss you too.
We did it! Welcome to our ninth edition of Mustang Media Group in print. Whether you’re reading our print product for the first time from Spanos Stadium or holding onto it for the last time before closing out your Cal Poly chapter, we’re incredibly proud of what we have accomplished as a newsroom this year.
As we close out the 2025-2026 academic year, we wanted to thank you for supporting student media and trusting us to deliver the news to you this year. This year was shaped by early-morning edits, late-night newsroom laughs and most importantly, journalism that served our campus and community.
We’re sad to leave, but will never forget the moments we shared with our audience. Together, we chased stories that mattered, built trust with our audiences and documented moments that will become part of Cal Poly history.
When the two of us joined Mustang Media Group, we hadn’t even graduated high school. Four years later, we’ve navigated the fourth estate and explored what it means to be an innovative, audience-first newsroom.
As we turn the page on another chapter of Mustang Media Group, we’re filled with gratitude for the people, moments and stories that brought us here.
Thank you for trusting us to tell us your stories, celebrate your achievements and document this chapter of our lives together. Congratulations to the class of 2026!
With gratitude, a couple coffees and a forever audience-first mindset,
Archana Pisupati, Editor-in-Chief
Jeremy Garza, Managing Editor
