Students who applied and were selected by Cal Poly for the 2015-16 academic year reached record highs for the number of applicants, and feature some notable academic achievements.
Of the more than 50,000 that applied, most were College of Engineering (CENG) students. They also accounted for a majority of the selected students.
The College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) made up the smallest number of applied and selected students.

Why do you keep publishing this information as if it is representative of the entering class in 2015? These are just the admitted students. Only 1/3 of these students will attend and the statistics will be significantly different for enrolled students from accepted students. Why not ask Cal Poly for the stats of the students who said they will enroll by May 1st. They must have that information available. Curious why they haven’t released it. Could they not be an improvement on the prior class stats?
