Whether you’re a cynic or a romantic, LoverSpeak has something for you this Valentine’s season.

LoverSpeak is an annual fundraising poetry reading put on by the editors of Byzantium, Cal Poly’s literary journal. This year’s event will take place Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. in Warren J. Baker Center for Science and Mathematics (building 180), room 101.

Byzantium, which began in 1990, is produced every year by undergraduate English majors. Its entries, which consist of both poetry and short fiction, are submitted through a writing contest and chosen by the student editors.

Admission is $2 for students and $3 for the general public.
