Former President Donald Trump signed a $900 billion COVID-19 stimulus bill that included aid for college students. The new bill is meant to simplify the process for students to request and receive federal aid.

Cal Poly still has funds left over from the first stimulus package, and the university will have to allocate about $7 million towards student relief aid with the second stimulus package. Students can apply for the coronavirus relief funding through the Cal Poly Cares website.
