Environmental engineering graduate Danny McBroom died this past Tuesday, April 5, in San Luis Obispo from a severe brain injury.
McBroom hit his head on a concrete surface and was found unconscious. He was taken to an intensive care unit and died six days later.
McBroom graduated in Winter 2016 and had secured a job with an engineering firm in Oregon.
Cal Poly is holding a memorial service for McBroom tomorrow, Friday, April 8 at 2 p.m. at the Alumni University House.
