Hundreds of Cal Poly students gathered together on Monday to honor the memory of deceased theatre arts sophomore Brett Olson, who was found dead on Sept. 9 following a rafting trip on the Sacramento River during Labor Day weekend.
Students held a candlelight vigil at 7 p.m., and speakers included Cal Poly President Jeffrey Armstrong, Director of Student Life and Leadership Stephan Lamb and members of Olson’s family and friends.
