All four former Cal Poly students charged in the death of architecture freshman Carson Starkey have pleaded not guilty.
Jurors found two San Luis Obispo residents guilty Monday of first-degree murder for the 2007 death of a Cal Poly alumnus, the San Luis Obispo Tribune reported.
Cal Poly alumnus Christopher Meadows, 24, passed away Sunday while on a volunteer search and rescue emergency call. He is fondly remembered by his Cal Poly peers as a positive, considerate person who enjoyed his volunteer work.
