Cal Poly is adding an A+ to the grading scale, to be given at any professor’s discretion. The hope is that students applying to grad school will benefit from a potential GPA boost. All nine schools in the University of California system and four Cal State universities, including Cal Maritime, already employ an A+ grading scale.
