San Luis Obispo Art in the Park is an outdoor arts and crafts show featuring handmade work from about 100 independent artists and craft workers, held over Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend, with free admission and parking.

Swords and shields collide at Santa Rosa Park
Approximately 20 people meet at Santa Rosa Park every Saturday to play Amtgard, a live-action, medieval weapon game. The Barony of the Seven Sleeping Dragons, as they call themselves, is the San Luis Obispo chapter of the internationally played game.
