Graphic communication associate professor, Brian Lawler, is “in relatively bad shape” after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike to work Monday morning, but is “feeling okay.”

Billy Ross, a survivor of the 1960 plane crash that killed 16 Cal Poly football players, passed away Jan. 20 at the age of 78.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening, a Foothill Gardens apartment kitchen caught on fire during an attempt to fry chicken. There were no injuries and little damage was done to the apartment.
