Cal Poly hosted the 11th annual Mustang Mile, a 5k run which is dedicated to former Cal Poly student Carson Starkey who passed away in 2008 due to a fraternity hazing accident. The run aims to bring awareness to alcohol and drug abuse issues with the goal of bringing the community together to rally behind a common cause.
