Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is starting fall quarter off on a musical note with a sunset concert. Sing your heart out and feel free to boogie to the sounds of rapper and slam poet Watsky in the University Union Plaza on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 7:30 p.m.

ASI Program Coordinator Missi Bullock said the concert is “a way for ASI to show that they’re here for Cal Poly students” as well as a way to see what students like and want.

“We usually have over 1,000 students show up for this concert,” Bullock said. “We find a lot of people like hip-hop for these events.”

The concert is free for students with a PolyCard. It’s a great way to kick off the quarter, Bullock said.

Students can welcome the first few days of fall with a golden sunset and launch into the new school year with some hip-hop tunes.
