At the Cal Poly Creamery, students are gaining hands-on experiences during every step of the dairy production processes. They begin with picking up the milk and then turn it into cheese or ice cream that’s sold right on the Cal Poly campus. Their weekly schedule rotates though milk pickup, cheese make, ice cream make, and the Creamery’s drive through. The program emphasizes teamwork, growth, and the rewarding experience of seeing their work enjoyed across the community. Reporter Randi Ingoglia brings us more.
