Charges have been filed against the five Cal Poly football players arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity house on Aug. 10.

According to court documents, the San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s office charged the five players — Cameron Akins, Cortland Fort, Kristaan Ivory, Jake Brito and Dominique Love — with multiple counts of conspiracy to commit residential robbery in concert, attempted residential robbery in concert, attempted residential burglary, resisting arrest by threat and violence, and false imprisonment.

Attempted robbery in concert has a maximum sentence of 4 and a half years.

The District Attorney’s Office has also added several gun enhancements to these charges, which adds an additional 10 years to a sentence.
