If you’ve been to the Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market in recent weeks, you may have noticed a new booth drawing long lines.

That booth is Dirty, a business founded by two Cal Poly students and friends that sell sodas mixed with creams and syrups.

Since coming up with the idea on a car ride back from SLO, Delainee Fernandes and Madison Andrade have gone from being unable to secure a place to pop-up to serving lengthy lines of customers at the Farmers’ Market.

Reporter Roman Noravian shares how the student founders turned an idea into one of the market’s newest booths.
