Swedish EDM opening act Galantis and American EDM artist Zhu are set to headline Cal Poly’s Morning on the Green – A Mustang Music Festival, according to the Cal Poly ticketing website

The free event will take place from 4:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, at the Cal Poly Sports Complex Lower Fields for students 18 and older.

According to President Armstrong, each ticket holder is allowed one extra ticket. The plus-one does not have to be a Cal Poly student. To purchase a ticket, students must be logged into their Cal Poly accounts to verify their student status.

In a sit-down interview with Mustang News, San Luis Obispo Mayor Erica Stewart and President Armstrong told students to avoid going to the street party.

“Make a B-line to the intramural fields because SLOPD, UPD—they’re going to be out,” he said. “We work hard without warning. We don’t want an illegal street party. So, get to the event.”

Tickets will be available at noon.
