San Luis Obispo now has 214 confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Saturday, May 9 – up two cases from yesterday, according to the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department.

Of the total cases, 35 patients are at home recovering in isolation, 172 patients have recovered and six patients are currently in the hospital. Two of the hospitalized patients remain in intensive care.

There has been one death related to coronavirus in the county.

Total Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in SLO County

County Public Health has now conducted 2,142 tests in which 74 have tested positive. Private laboratories have detected 140 cases, but the number of tests conducted is unknown, according to County Public Health.

The largest single-day spike in coronavirus cases remains at 14.

There are 16 cases of coronavirus in those zero to 17-years-old, 94 in ages 18 to 49-years-old, 60 in 50 to 64-years-old and 44 in those 65 and older.
