First off, “The Vagina Monologues” is not JUST a fundraiser for wacky political leftist groups. All of the proceeds from the Cal Poly production go to Sexual Assault Recovery and Prevention (SARP), Sexual Assault-Free Environment Resource program (SAFER), and SLO Planned Parenthood.

All right, it’s starting to annoy me. The amount of conservatives talking about the “global warming debate” is getting ridiculous.

An unapparent piece of evidence of the possible liberal bias at Cal Poly is through giving the conservative column to Brian Eller. Besides the consistent unverified “facts” he uses, he fails to truely represent conservative students’ opinions. I request a brighter, more compassionate author be chosen.

As of right now, 3,118 American troops have lost their lives in Iraq. The Iraqi death toll is at a staggering 650,000 and rising every day. Fifteen million children will die of starvation this year, despite the fact that they could all be fed for a fraction of what the war is costing us.

I’ll be pretty concise. To respond to Brian Eller’s “Liberal Bias” article, he really needs to do his research. The last time I checked, I saw the LGBT Pride Center in a trailer next to building 52, NOT in the University Union, like he mentioned.

To sum up, Brian Eller is the most knowledgable columnist in the Mustang Daily.

It’s probably for the best you qualified the beginning of last week’s conservative column with “proving (a liberal bias) exists…

I would like to thank Mr. Eller for the wonderful history lesson from his Wednesday column (“Liberal Bias does exist at Cal Poly,” Feb. 7)…

The numbers that Brian Eller posted Wednesday were expected but still powerful. If Cal Poly is so committed to diversity on campus, why don’t they promote the true, and only proven, diversity which is the diversity of ideas? With a Sustainability week and Change the Status Quo, I would expect there will be views from the other side.

My day was about to end happily, after eating a can of honey-roasted cashews, until I saw the cover of your Feb. 8 issue, for the fifth time. I typically ignore moments when ignorant Protestants, Catholics, Orthodox and non-denominational Christians individualize themselves from each other; however, the sight of your pie chart and its segregation of Christianity annoyed me one-too-many times.
