Morro Bay Rotary Club’s Ducky Derby splashes for cash
The Rotary Club of Morro Bay raised $14,000 in its first-ever combined Ducky Derby and shrimp and tri-tip barbecue fundraiser on Oct. 5. At 8 a.m. rubber ducks purchased by participants are dropped in the Galley Hofbrau Inlet on the Embarcadero, and the race finishes at Tidelands Park.
