California State University approves tuition increase

The California State University Board of Trustees Committee on Finance approved a two-step tuition increase to ensure quality service to incoming and continuing students, despite some opposition.

A newly expanded educational tax credit can now help students pay for textbooks, supplies and equipment.

Summer quarter tuition change looks to graduate seniors and decrease student population

Summer classes will have to pay for themselves 100 percent in order to be offered this year, a change from previous summers. To support this, Cal Poly and 21 of the 23 California State University (CSU) campuses will shift to a self-support tuition plan.
