Cal Poly President Jeffrey Armstrong participated in his first Walk a Mile in Her Shoes sporting sparkly gold high heels and his signature Cal Poly striped polo.
Almost three hundred people signed up to walk a mile in women’s shoes through downtown San Luis Obispo on Saturday, April 25th for Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. The event raises awareness of sexual assault.
More than $15,000 was raised for RISE, which is San Luis Obispo’s sexual assault prevention organization.
